This course is designed to equip prospective and practising teachers with personal skills and understanding to make effective use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to support learning outcomes for their students within the learning area of Health and Physical Education. A variety of opportunities provided by ICT to transform the learning and teaching experience and an understanding of pedagogical approaches towards ICT implementation are explored. Students will produce a rich technology-based teaching resource that can be maintained and used in a school setting.
